I am one of those people who have to have noise when I try to write, sleep, work, pretty much anything. I like to have something going in the background. I can't imagine writing without music, but I know a lot of people prefer to write in silence. For me, I find inspiration in the music. It sometimes helps me write a scene as a I draw from the songs that are playing, and I hit replay fairly often. I make playlists depending on what I am working on but I tend to have a set one for particular WIPs. A lot of my playlists can overlap which is also nice, and I enjoy knowing that the songs that will play are ones that I love. Full disclosure: Taylor Swift dominates my playlists.
So I thought I would share one of my playlists that I have made for what I will be working on for NaNoWriMo. That's part of planning, right? ;)
